The last thing I want to be is some pushy salesperson. I prefer assisting people as a marketing advisor and I want to let you know that no matter what company you choose in the long run I will always be here to answer any questions. Let’s get down to what is most important, showing you how we are going to perform for you and get you a return. The 2 biggest factors to consider in an email campaign are the quality of data and the delivery methodology. I can honestly tell you that I would be extremely surprised to find out that we are not leading the industry in those two factors alone. Your head would spin trying to keep up with all of the minute details our team goes through when it comes to data quality and delivery methodology. We take our time going over all of the details of a campaign with our clients and get it right the first time. This is the main contributor to our repeat business. We practice only the most ethical and honorable mailing policies. We are 100% can-spam compliant and strictly follow all ethical mailing guidelines. You have your place of business and now you must show people that it exists, like putting a big sign on your building and moving your building to the busiest part of town. That is what we do for online businesses. However, we take it a step further and we put your store in a neighborhood in which everybody expressed an interest in products similar to yours. Result driven company

Our company operates quite a bit differently than most of the marketing companies in the industry today. The entire staff is paid on a salary pay structure, so nobody will find themselves in a position in which they need to sell somebody to make income or keep their job. Delivery methodology There are countless details that I cannot share, however here are 3 of our trade secrets I can disclose 

Email Verification

Our COO created a entirely new position in the industry. He hired an executive to verify email. That is all he does all day long. When a company sends email to a list (especially b2b lists) the server that sent the email will receive "verification emails" that requires a human to verify that you are a real live human being and not a bot or a spam source. This is usually caused by the software protecting the end-user. Approximately 30% of the email that we deploy needs verification. Rather than loosing all of the valuable email contacts we have an executive in place to perform this repetitious task.

ISP caps

I consider myself lucky to work with such an intelligent technical team that continuously goes the extra mile to ensure a place on the top of the industry via discovering new advancements regarding online marketing technologies. In fact it was our staff that discovered ISP caps and how to maneuver around them (an idea that was never previously thought or spoke about). The other thing we do to maximize our delivery is slow throttling our mailing software to send email beneath the ISP caps. All ISP’s have email caps and most of the caps are different. These Internet Service Providers only allow a certain amount of email for a given period of time to pass through their server. If you send one email beyond the email/time ratio the email will bounce. This could be very costly. There are thousands of ISP's and our mailing software is set specifically for each isp cap. We are the only company that has each individual isp cap. It took us almost a year and a half to gather all of this information however, we can now perfectly throttle our campaigns.

creative optimization

We happen to be surrounded by brilliant people that know how to get things done. Our creative director is a brilliant man who has been studying algorithms for the past 10 years. He has developed his own proprietary software to help us stay on top of the industry. This is not the same generic software that is used by 75% of the mailing companies on the net that has only a 5 point checking system that primarily checks for key words. Our unique software strings thousands of algorithm check points and I also believe that our algorithm software stands alone in the fact that it is predictive. Our predictive algorithm software self-updates every month keeping up the forever changing algorithms. Each ISP has different algorithms that will hinder a successful mailing. Creative advertisement structures that may work fine for aol may not necessarily work for yahoo. I am not the most tech savvy guy to explain all of the intricate algorithms being used.  What I do know, I don’t mind sharing with you. I know that algorithms could be a ratio of html versus text or images, how far down the image starts, how many capital letters are in the text, how many keywords or key word correlations are in the body or the subject line, creatives with mime parts, and background colors are just a few off the top of my head. Each Month ISP’s add and augment algorithms to their email platform. These algorithms constantly challenge the fiber of any performance based company.  Let’s face it, you can have the cleanest, most relevant list on the planet, however if it is tripping any algorithms and being held up in spam filters the list will not result in opened emails. Without opened email you will not get the click throughs that is necessary for you to make a sale. Discounts

Not only do we offer several discounts we prefer not to nickel and dime our clients. The majority of companies within this industry will charge for hotline data,  (data that is less than a month old) we do not. In the same respect we do not increase our prices for a higher level of targeting and we definitely do not have four figured minimum prices. Are prices are extremely cost effective when compared to performance based, result driven marketing companies. We also know that a company that has never used our services would rather test us out at a lower price to see if we can back up our words. For that reason we offer a new client discount for every client with which we have not previously worked. This discount is 20% off of the list price. We are confident once you see how our campaigns convert you will not mind paying full price for your next campaign. We also offer a multiple campaign discount. A multiple campaign discount is valid for all invoices that have two or more separated lists. The multiple campaign discount is 15% off of the entire invoice price. Our clients can use more than one unique discount on the same invoice if the situation presents itself. Just like most items that you purchase in bulk you can get better rates with email as you increase the volume being deployed. We have significant rental price breaks at 50,000 records, 100,000 records, 250,000 records, 500,000 records and 1,000,000 records. With that being said, it is relatively easy to figure out how to get the best ROI for your project. Return of investment equals profit minus expense. I think you know as well as we do that the higher the volume equates to the highest propensity for larger ROI's. The conversion rates average the same number no matter what volume you are sending. Higher volumes equal more conversions at a lower price point basically because the return is much higher when you are paying less for the campaign. As you move up the volume price chart the CPM continues to lower. Our statistics still average the same number; however you are paying less to get the same stats at a larger level. We like to close each month strong so we offer specials at the beginning and end of each month including a free email optimization service. About the Data

Our lists are a combination of data gathered from our lead generation sites, internal database surveys, tradeshow attendees, and various online and printed memberships/subscriptions, including subscribers to a countless variety of magazines. We have over 3000 lead-generation portals including our affiliate sites from which we collect data. No lead that is gathered has been gathered with an incentive. So nobody opted into a list to win anything. None of our opt-in boxes are pre-checked like many companies out there. We also have an exclusive partnership with yourfavoritemagazine.com in which we are able to get lifestyle attributed lists. All of our data is double opt-in records and we can back that up with optin information from every record within our database. We do not charge higher rates for hotline data (data that is less than one month old). All of our data is hotline data. We update our database on the 15th of every month. During the update all of our data is merged, purged, scrubbed and updated with the NCOA (National Change Of Address) ECOA’d, scrubbed against our opt out list and  processed through bounce removal tools making it the freshest data that will continue to render high conversion rates for our clients.  All of our lists are semi-exclusive. We can rent specific databases for 2 companies only and then we must retire the list until, and if, the end-users decide to optin again.  Many companies broadcast to the same list (which at one point may have been a great list) to hundreds of companies in a short period of time making the list useless. We acquired additional target selects with the feedback we received from the surveys. Data Sample

Like I mentioned above each month on the 15th when we update our databases we send out internal surveys. In every one of our surveys we ask permission to post the survey recipient's contact information online. Just about all of our proposals have permission based samples within. I have asked companies in the past to see sample data and I usually received the same answer. "It is not in our business model". To me that shows a lack of confidence in their data. Personalization

Another reason for our success is the fact that we can personalize any email message body and subject line. You don't want the email recipient to feel like they are one of millions of consumers or business executives getting the same ad. We can put the recipients name within the ad and subject line by inserting a wildcard that pulls from the first name column in the database.


Rebroadcasts

There are no broadcast fees associated with the original broadcast. However, if you want to rebroadcast your ad to the list we charge a rebroadcast fee. This is much more affordable than paying the full list price to continually brand your product. The rebroadcast rate is only 12% of the list price. Not the list price with the new client discount but the actual cost of the list. All rebroadcasts must be stated on the original invoice. Many years of research and analysis has shown us a 3 times higher response rate when sending multiple campaigns to the same list rather than 3 different lists. The first time you send your creative and offer to a particular list the broadcast is used as an introduction. Consumers tend to be hesitant to buy from a company they have not heard of previously. The second time we broadcast to the list is to create recognition. The results are more conversions. When the third and final broadcast is sent we noticed consumers view your company as one of the trustworthy leaders of your industry. The consumers who were still skeptical after seeing your message the second time now have the confidence in your company to spend money. What many of our clients are doing is purchasing a 3 broadcast deal, sending the first broadcast out with subject line a. and creative a. Then they change it up for the second broadcast (subject line b. and creative ad b.). From there we can look at the stats and tell you which subject line and creative out performed the other. Opens are directly related to your subject line and clicks are directly related to your creative. If subject line a and creative ad b. performed best you can use them both for the third campaign to capitalize on the response rate. We average a 3-5% click through rate on the first broadcast so I am sure you can imagine how well you will do with multiple broadcasts. We have a maximum of 3 broadcasts per list. We do this to keep the list responsive. You may have seen vendors offering 10+ broadcasts to a list on a weekly basis. The question you have to ask yourself is if you have the capability to mail to the list 10 times, how many companies before you beat up the list? Our maximum broadcast limit lets us keep our list responsive for our clients. And that is one of the main reasons our lists convert so well.

Creative Sample

The sample below was a creative used to attract high income investors to a high end property in Miami Beach. We did have to cover the company information on the sample. This campaign was simple yet extremely successful. The idea behind a creative is to attract the reader and keep the creative as simple as possible. A creative should never look like a webpage and a good rule of thumb is to make sure that the reader will never need to scroll down to read the entire creative. An image should be around post card size, and you should have only 4 or 5 bullet points to make the reader want to click on the creative to read more. Americans have proven to be very lazy when it comes to reading email and it should never be a task for anyone to get to the best points of your product. You only have 4 seconds to make an impression. If they want to read more they will click onto the website. We will be more than happy to help you come up with a winning creative that will best suit your product.

Our software query’s the database to pull the tracking reports. It basically counts the number of integer changes in the database columns of the clicks, opens, opt-outs etc…. When somebody clicks on the creative it puts a number in the click field where the record is located. We can pull a tracking report at any given moment 24 hours after the campaign has been completed. The tracking report will show you the volume sent, the number of opens received, the open percentage, the number of click throughs received, the click through percentage, and the click to open percentage.

  

E-mail Campaign Creative Guidelines and Procedures

1. Optimal dimension width 425 pixels by height 325 pixels or 7" by 8" (dimensions can be a bit larger if desired)
2. HTML version of the campaign - should be in a HTML format *.html or *.htm. (We do not accept HTML files created in MS-Word) If you are purchasing an optimization we will convert your jpg, pdf or doc file to an html file
3. Approval test will be sent within 24hrs after we complete creative.
4. Live Broadcast will be sent no sooner than 24hrs after test is approved by client.
5. Email creative weight should not exceed 40kb

6. Creative Images are to be provided as GIF / JPG formats
7. Strip your images so it will not load up as one image. This will insure a quick load time. (We will supply this service)
8. Convert images to Cid. (we will supply this service)
9. Start with your logo move to a greeting, add about 3-5 strong text bullet points, insert contact information and click here for more information link.
10. All creatives must have an opt-out on the bottom including a postal opt-out (we will supply this)
11. Test creative in algorithm software. (We will supply this service)
12. Complete the optimization, send from a white listed server. (We will supply this service)

IMPORTANT: Please make sure that your landing page does not have any media within. This includes flash, video and audio. High traffic to a page with media will cause a bottleneck effect dramatically slowing down the load time of your site. It may even cause errors opening the page.

Process moving forward

First thing we will need is your billing information including your company name, address, and phone number. We will also need the campaign detail such as email volume, creative/optimization services and or rebroadcast deals.

  1. Creation of the broadcast order form (http://www.therightlist.net/broadcast.php):  Once we have received the signed invoice and payment we will put together your broadcast order form. To complete your broadcast order form we will need know the following: The subject line on the email message. (please send 3-5 subject lines for testing keeping the character length below 41 including spaces). Click on the following link to see which words to avoid. Click Here. We will also need the “from line” for the email message and email addresses that the test campaigns will be sent to. At this point if we are not building or optimizing the creative we will need you to send us one of your own.
  2. Next we will begin testing the creative and send it to the email address that you provided for testing purposes.
  3. Approval: Once you receive the test and decide that you are happy. You must send us an email stating that the test has been approved and you are ready for launch.
  4. Launch: We will not just blast out your campaign at high speeds. The only way to ensure you email is going to be reached by all of the major ISP’s that have a throttle cap (amount of email the server excepts per hour) is to send your campaign out over the course of 2 days.
  5. Tracking: We will send you tracking and analysis on the delivered email, opened email, and links that were clicked through to reach your site. Tracking will be provided 24 hours after the campaign has completed.
